About Swarovski Crystals
The Swarovski Company was founded in 1892 by Daniel Swarovski and his brother. Coming from a long line of crystal cutters, he designed a machine that would do the job. The first crystal cutting machine took six years to create and was patented and put into production in 1898.Over the years Mr. Swarovski continued to design machining equipment and patents related to his creations. His descendents have continued to be known for perfecting many of the top machining and cutting tools known around the world. In 1965 Swarovski produced an innovative technique for prism angle cutting bringing the greatest reflection. In 1956 Swarovski Company developed the first "Aurora Borealis" (AB) technique of steam application of a permanent reflective finish on crystals. That's where the special beauty and brilliance is created! 1966 brought about the first crystals in gemstone colors such as sapphires, diamonds and emeralds, etc designed by non other than the Swarovski Company. Swarovski creates the most beautiful, colorful and brilliant crystals in the world.
So why use Swarovski? Why would I use anything else!
